ARRIVED IN ONEDERLAND!
Well, I finally made it to ONEderland yesterday! OMG, I can't believe it. It's been 40 years since I've been there, my freshman year in high school. I am so happy as I can see my weight goal in sight. Coming from almost 500 pounds, it seemed like it would never happen
I know that my weight losses are getting smaller and smaller as I near my first year anniversary. This month I only lost about 6 pounds. I've upped my exercise.
I went to Arizona and braved my first hot air balloon ride . That was awesome. I had so much room in my airplane seat and had about 7 inches extra on my seatbelt. The tray table came down with a lot of extra space underneath. I am seeing and feeling bones that were there but previously under a lot of fat! I'm enjoying shopping and love to accessorize my clothes.
Life is so good after having the surgery and working my tool. I look forward to each new day. Life is worth living again.
I will be seeing my surgeon on my surgery anniversary date and can't wait to see him. I am so happy with my success!
This week I'm going to the OH Milwaukee conference and am looking forward to meeting my fellow OH posters.
Wishing everyone a Happy 1st Year Surgery Anniversary, as we are almost in June!
Hugs,
Lucy

Kerri, thanks for your reply. I am so happy that I could cry! It seems unbelievable that I only have 39 pounds to goal - that's my goal before plastic surgery. 39 pounds is nothing in comparison to losing 286 pounds. I do know that these last 39 stinking pounds are going to be the most difficult for me to lose, but I'm going to get them off once and for all
When I see myself in the mirror or reflection in the glass, I can't believe it's me! I know it's time for me to post a new picture, as the one posted here is from New Years Eve. I've changed a lot since then.
Well, you and I are working toward our goal. We will make it, I'm sure!
Have a wonderful day and week!
Hugs,
Lucy
