Icky Boss

Hello Junners ~hugs~ I have something I need to get info on, I have a boss that does NOT wash his hands after using the bathroom even after number two How can I handle this because it is grossing me out big time! There is only the President, VP and myself that use this bathroom so it is not like I can put a sign up saying to wash your hands so I have to come up with something better then that. Being that this is the President and my boss, it is a sticky situation and his wife is the VP. The family is ALWAYS sick and I am sure that has something to do with it. I know his wife (VP) washes her hands so that is good. Ikkkky feelings update NY here.... Debra P

That is gross! I'm a bit curious, how do you know he doesn't wash his hands? Maybe you could put some GermX out or something and he'd get the hint.

Kelli Jo, Well I thought he was not washing his hands because you can hear him flush and come running out of the bathroom, never hearing the water at the sink on and yes it is a small office and you can hear everything..... I did a test!!! Well with that I knew that Monday mornings all the trash has been taken out because the cleaning people came, so after he was in the bathroom for a while, I went in (after a little bit of time passed of course ) and there is NOTHING in the garbage can (no papertowel nor tissue) so he is not washing his hands after either. Come to think of it I NEVER have seen him wash his hands....ekkkkkkk Debra P

Yea that is pretty gross... yuck. then he's touching things around the office. I don't get that. We share a bathroom on our floor with other offices. There are people that you see every day and then you go in the bathroom and they walk right out w/out washing their hands. I just don't get it. I wash my hands, and come to my desk and use Germx. Now I was told be careful using so much Germx cuz it gets rid of natural antibodies that defend against bacteria..or something like that..but I still use it. I also keep it by my computer at home, since we all use the keyboard, if one of us is sick, we don't all get it.

Hey Deb, As soon as he walks out of the bathroom stand there with lysol and wash the door knob so he sees you. He will get the hint!! Happy

Happy, Hun I love the idea but then will have to look for another job... I am sure the President and boss would not like me to do that. Wish I had the balls to do that .....love the idea...Thanks hun. Debra P

Maybe get some infor from off the State Health Dept. site about how germs are passed from not washing hands and discreetly place them on everyone's desks, so that if anyone catches you placing them around then no one will know you are targeting the boss. They will just think you are a germ freak. Wendy
