11 Month Pic
Hey All,
I've hit the 11 month mark and I posted some pics. There is a face shot mid way down and a full body shot all the way at the end. Everything has been great. Sometimes I am really hungry but I am finding that its the days after I take my spinning class! I have been doing it 3-4 times a week and I love it. I'm content with my weight loss I would love for it to be more but I am happy with 107 pounds!!! I measured my self yesterday (actually my husband did) and drum roll a total loss of 80 3/4 inches!!! Holly cow thats over 6 feet!!!
I feel great and love the new me. I cant stop shopping. I am a 14 in skirts and dresses and a 16 in pants (i still have a big butt!!) a large - medium in shirts which blows my mind!! I can wear my husbands things like jammies and shirts not jeans yet but soon hopefully!!! He tells me to turn around and I do and he says: "you have a great a$$" blush blush!!!
Thanks for reading and y'all are doing amazing keep it up!
Hugs Happy
Hi Stacey~
I sooooo don't run~ I walk the races. I started doing the 5k's because it was a great challenge, and I wasn't entirely sure I could do it, even though it was only a little over 3 miles. So many people in CA were getting ready for the LA Marathon. I thought~ WOW what an unbelievable accomplishment!!! So, I did the Komen Race for the Cure 5k walk. It was fun, relatively painless, and I got a t-shirt! I soon signed up for another 5k race at the beach. By the time I was done, I thought that I was ready to up my challenge to a 10k. Again~ I was totally unsure that I could do it without injuring myself. But, when I did it on the treadmill, at an incredibly slow pace, I was encouraged that I would be okay. I did it outside also, then decided to take it on.
Music is key for me. I load an exercise playlist, put all of my favorite rockin' songs on it, and then go to town. Thank goodness for my ipod! I don't mind the walk as long as I can listen to my favorites. I'm now starting to train for a half marathon in October~ A rock'n'roll half marathon to be exact. I love a good challenge! I've jogged just a tiny bit~ waaaaaay to much flab on the backs of my legs to do it for very long. I was one of those people who carried most of my weight in my hips and thighs, so that's what's doing a lot of bouncing these days!
Spinning sounds awesome~ don't know if my fanny could take it or not. What great exercise, though. Keep up the great work!
Hugs,
Kerri
