Almost 11 months for me..
Its been almost 11 months for me and I feel great. I get an occasional ache and pain, but which one of us doesnt. I am not getting any younger. But I actually feel so much younger than I did at this time last year. I am very happy with the results of this surgery.
As of last Tuesday I am down 132 lbs. I am 149 and only 9 lbs from my surgeons goal for me. I think I will be happy at 140, but if a few more lbs come off after that, that will be fine with me. I am in mediums or large tops, mostly 8 pants or capri's. Still dont like to wear shorts because my legs are all wrinkled . But I can live with that.
I saw a plastic surgeon about having a breast lift, but he thinks I dont have enough to take off for my insurance to warrant paying for it. I guess I will have to live with that too because if I am going to pay out of my pocket I would much rather have my legs done. Time will tell. He sent a letter to my insurance company so we are waiting to hear what they have to say about it. I am not real worried about any of that surgery. If I do get any it would be to get some skin off of my thighs.
I went on a cruise to the Bahamas a few weeks ago. It was fun, but the motion on that ocean was a little too much for me. I think I will stick to flying to a resort to be pampered. .
I am so much enjoying my two grandaughters. Its so much fun to go outside and play and run around with them. I could never keep up with the kids before. I have to do some major chasing of my two and a half year old grandaughter. The one year old is not fast enough for me yet..
Enjoy the summer everyone. Hopefully the weather will get nice in the northeast for all of us suffering with the rain and cool weather. Keep up the great work.
Carla
I can't believe you are a grandma!!!
That is great! I have alot more energy too, I love that I made this decision.
I have a question about the breast reduction thing though. What size cup are you in in your bra? I am a D cup and I wonder what amount they need to take off for the insurance too. I don't want to end up totally boobless. Well, I wouldn't care, but my hubby would! LOL!
Email me if you don't want to post your answer out in front of public.
