Hey girl! Haven't seen you on here, but I have seen you on BAF! First, sorry you are having a hard time. I have been on a plateau since the beginning of last month, so I know how you feel. I didn't do the protein train, but I did do the Plateau buster (pretty much the same thing but no greens).. all that did is make me constipated. I'm going to the store at lunch for some stool softners. Nway, I would discuss this with your doctor to come up w/ solutions. Without knowing what is your habits, it's hard to know what is wrong. You could be eating too much, eating too little, eating the wrong things, not exercising... all of which I'm sure I've done in my journey. Congrats on the 56 lbs! Atleast that is gone. I know the closer you get to goal, the harder it gets. You may also want to up your protein by using shakes. I find this helps me sometimes. Good luck to ya!

Thanks for the advice I know part of my problem is im not eating enough but i feel when I do eat imeating too much I dont want to ruin my new stomach. For instance I only ate twice yesterday and when I do eat it's always something with protein. I have been doing the shakes so I just don't know. Maybe god didnt want me to be stick thin. Im a 14 now my goal was to be a 12 but maybe it's not in his plan for me.

You shouldn't worry about eating too much... you should worry about listening to your body. If you are hungry and eating foods that are good for you, then eat! (Truly... people would be shocked if they knew how much I eat!!!) Talk to your doctor and to your dietician. If you are truly following the plan (vitamins, the right amount of protein, fluids, and exercise), they may be able to help you figure out how to shake things up a little bit. You are NOT a failure. Do not allow that kind of thinking to enter your head. You took a very brave step to better your life and your health, and although the numbers may not be what you would like to see, you have achieved that. That does not define failure in my book. (((hugs))) Nicole

I look at it this way, sooner or later my body has to give up the weight. However, if you're doing that, I would really talk to your doctor to figure out what's going on. Don't get me wrong, I'd be freaking out. I'm a bit concerned now about my plateau. Don't settle, just look into and find a solution w/ your doctor. I am slackish on this myself, but they do know more than us. Good luck!

I completely understand how you feel i have basically been at the same weight for the last 5 months and im on 1/2 way to goal. The doctor told me that im not eating enough and my body is in starvation mode. I did start upping the calories and the weight falls off but as soon as i don't get enough in it comes right back on. You may have to work hard on getting in enough calories. its strange but i have noticed a difference. Monica
