Topic: RE: Starting as a Lightweight????
I started at 240. I'm staying around 165 now on my scale. The docs scale says 170. SO I think it is normal to slow way down. I'm supposed to weight 118. I dont think I'll ever get there. *S* Jamie

Hi there Christine I too was a "light weight" (tell that to my knees) I started this journey at 259, lost 19lbs before surgery and the day of my WLS I was at 240. I have been floating around 170 for a while now....but I do notice that the inches are melting away. Try upping the protein and water. I seem to notice that when I do that then I will lose a few pounds. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have noticed that other june bugs have slowed down too, so we are not alone. LeAnn 259/170/140? This a new picture of me, just posted. Remember, if you work out, muscle weighs more than fat.

I eat about 1/2 cup at a time - 3/4 if it's been a long while since my last meal or if I have a protien drink for breakfast and then lunch after noon.

Topic: RE: hey whats that??!!
I now have bony shoulders and an average size butt - actually looks pretty good in jeans! But I get so cold all the time with no insulation. And sitting makes my bum sore. I'd still trade it all for the aches and pains I had before.

Topic: Starting as a Lightweight????
I had my surgery on June 22. I started at a 40 BMI. I am 5' 9 1/2" and was 276 day of surgery. Today I am 185, but have only lost 4 lbs since January 4th!!!! Anyone else REALLY slowing down? I think my BMI is between 26 and 27 now. I really want to get to 155 or 160, but I am starting to think I might not unless I starve myself? Any thoughts?

Topic: RE: Anyone else with low energy?
Have you had your blood work up done? You could have a deficiency. Luckily for me I have tons of energy, but I cannot work out at the gym until my hernia repair is healed. Are you hypothyroid? I know before I was diagnosed I was tired all the time, but once I was put on med. my energy level improved dramatically. Good luck.

Topic: RE: Constantly Dizzy?
Are you getting in enough fluids? I suffered from dizziness some years ago, it turned out I was perpetually dehydrated. You could also be hypoglcemic. You might want to check with your dr. Good luck.

Topic: Constantly Dizzy?
I'm unfortunately still forgetting to eat breakfast, when I get dizzy and get the shakes (which I am assumming is a drop in sugar?) I go eat, but then I get even more dizzy sometimes.. Any insight? Katie
