" THIS IS FROM A PREVIOUS POST...THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO READ" Karen When I went in for my last check up my doctor told me to go ahead and start checking into finding a doctor for TT surgery...Sooooooooooooo..... I know I am only 8 months out but my doctor seems to think I will only lose another 10-15 pounds. For these of you who are on Tenn-Care Select, I have found a doctor in Davidson **** who will take our insurance for TT. Of course the surgery must be for medical reasons, but give it a try......Dr. Patikes or Dr. Hueneke... the phone number is 615-327-0303. The lady which answered the phone was very nice. So I go April 5 and will soon find out if I can get anything done. Wish me luck. I started at 288, down to 153 and would like to end up 135-140. This whole thing has been like a dream, a good one at that. Because I have done so well, my husband now has an appointment with my doctor for gastric surgery and will see her the same day I see about TT. So it should not be too long before he will be down to a nice size also. Good luck to all and give the doctor a call. The sooner the better. Karen RNY6-30/288-151-145 soon

Good for you Courtney...It just makes you feel like all this has been for the good... You have come a long way. What a surprise it must have been for you to get into the smaller size...I my self am still in a 15-16 jean. Have been to affraid to try on anything else, for fear that will not fit. I guess I am so affraid cause I am so short and have so much extra skin. I know my legs are smaller than the size I am wearing...Maybe some day soon I will go try on a smaller size. Good Luck in losing the rest of the weight you want. You don't have much more to go. Karen Hill RNY6-30/288/151/145soon

That's great! Just wait till you hit the single digits. I almost started crying the first time I put on a size 8 jeans and they fit. I wanted to come out and tell everyone else....as if they really cared...hahaha. This has been beyond my wildest dreams to be this little and it's not over yet. Keep up the good work. Thank you Debra for the kind words. I feel great! You will get to your goal, it just takes a lot of hard work, despite what others may think. I have found that many times when I tell someone that I had gastric bypass surgery they assume that I had taken the "easy" way out to weight loss... little do they know! I am working harder than ever at losing weight, but at lease I'm seeing a pay off. Keep up the good work! Terri

Courtney, I know exactly how you feel. I got into a 13 juniors last week and almost died. I had to tell everyone I knew. They all think I'm crazy, but you know exactly how it feels! I keep buying my clothes too big, I have to try everything on. lol Ang 315/186/?
