Topic: RE: Anxiety setting in......
I have spent the last week backsliding...chips, chocolate, etc. I've regained 8 pounds and am now obese again (having just dipped below a few weeks ago). I'm frustrated with myself.
My husband says he doesn't want me to lose anymore even though I want to lose another 30#.
My breasts have begun to look very deflated which scared me - that's never happend before when I've dieted.
So now I can't seem to stick to the plan to get to goal. 10 days to my 1 year and I am sliding off track. Argh!

Topic: RE: I FINALLY DID IT!!! COME HUG ME!!! :-)
Thanks everybody!
I've re-assessed and modified my ultimate goal. If I make it to 145-150 I will be just as happy, but I would love to have normal BMI with 5 pounds to play with

Angie,
Great job, girl! You are awesome! Don't forget to pat yourself on the back as well. You should be proud as a peach.

Topic: RE: What did you do with your fat clothes??!!
I have only kept one dress from my larger size days and that is my wedding dress...Like I will ever wear it again. All my large size clothes I have given to friends. Then some of the other clothes that were too large for me as I go along, I have given to my older sister. She is trying to drop the weight also..Not by surgery though...Seems to be doing very well at it. I has really bothered me to clean out all my favorites, but like I said I know I will never need them again. I am so sure of that....
Life is good.. I am down to my personal goal weight. And will have my TT done the end of June. Now if I could just do something with my "Bat Wings" I would be very happy....Oh well, life goes on...

I'm right there with you. I'm 56 and have been fat as far back as I can remember. I'm not ready to stop losing yet--I still have another 80 pounds to go to get to the goal I have set for myself. I have been working as an overnight grocery stocker at my local WalMart for the past 5 months. This job gives me lots of activity and light weight lifting. I know I am getting more upper body strength and muscle tone. I am hoping that the reason the scales have stopped moving is because I am gaining muscle mass. Hang in there. Together we will make it to goal.

I bought a sewing machine and have been taking in some of my things to get more wear out of them. Others are still hanging in my closet waiting for a yard sale that I say I'm gonna have soon. Probably they will end up going to my local thrift store.

Isn't great to get rid of those big clothes though??
I do know what you are feeling though. I've been sending my clothes off to salvation army as I go down sizes. I NEVER want to be that BIG anymore.
I love these new style clothes they have in smaller sizes. NO more old lady clothes for me.
And if I gain I will try my darndess to get my butt back on track quickly!
