Don't forget how great the nails look with all the vitamins. If I knew I just needed to take a pill a day, would have saved me thousands from the fake nails all those years ago. smile.

Hi Deb, Thanks, my check-up did go just fine. I lost 34 1/2 pounds (that was on Monday and i've lost 2 more since then) and I no longer need to crush my meds. That's such a big relief because they tasted so bitter and yucky!!
How are you doing besides the odd color?? Are you able to keep everything down? I think that I am blessed because I have been very uneventful in my recovery. After reading some of the profiles on here I can't believe how some people are struggling. I hope that you aren't!!

Topic: what's changed so far?
Hi everyone . . .
Been doing some thinking this morning about the positive changes I've already noticed in my life as the result of my June surgery. Here's what I've come up with so far:
1) adult acne has totally cleared up and my skin is glowing
2) body aches from fibromyalgia are GONE
3) joint pain (knees and ankles) GONE
4) lower back pain from degenerative disk disease LESSENED
5) can get up my staircase without stopping to breathe or hoisting myself up via the railings, one step at a time
6) sleeping more soundly (less body aches and less instances of apnea)
7) depression alleviated
8) a new network of supportive friends, both in person at local groups, and online here
How about you?
