Mary, I am so happy for you. I know that after all is said and done you will be glad you had it done..I had my extra skin removed the end of June and am still not back to normal. It's a really rough road, but I am beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Just remember to make sure all your blood work is good. Make sure you have enough iron and everything else in your system before hand. I had two incisions, one going across and one going up and down. The bottom one has given no problems at all, but the one going the other way came open in two places. Both spots are getting better. I like the other ladies here found this surgery to be much harder than my RNY itself. But then the doctor told me it would be.. I just would not listen. kim, it has been a year and 2 months since my wls, what I cant"t understand is how did you tolerate the sugar in the cake I cant stand to eat anything that is sweet. I use to be a sugar junkie and now cant stand the tast of anything sweet I guess this is because my taste buds have completely changed thanks to the WLS. good luck.

That hurt But I need it , I've have loss 2 lbs. this week , I do know I went to the Cheese Cake Factory in Chicago and had a 6 carb cheese cake, WHAT THEY DONT TELL YOU IS, THE ONE PEICE is 610 Calories . Over all ,I JUST ate too much high Calories , on the Chicago trip. Kim
