HI Barbara, they took about 4 lbs of skin from me. gee I was hoping to hear that you are all done swelling by now for me it's all in the middle mostly. but, like my husband said that's where they did the most work and cut alot of nerves and such. it's a weird feeling being numb there.!! my surgeon told me that since I'm going back to work after this week that I only have to wear the binder for this week than I can take it off. I wonder if that will impied the reduction of swelling?? it will be almost 4 weeks when I finally go back to work. I bet my energy won't be there for the first few weeks I'll be more like when I get home!! are you back to work?? OH and yes!!! I hated those drains.!!!! thank God those are off!!!! YUCK!!! Mary

Topic: RE: how about a Turkey Day goal??
Well My wife had the surgery and well her turkey day goal is to keep my twin boys inside till the delivery date. which is dec 08. She has very lil energy lately... she has only gained like 10 to 15 lbs so far. the boys are about 3 lbs each. so she is not upset she has gained.

drains came out this past monday. I don't look that swollen , but, since I can't fit into my jeans. I know I am still swollen. esp. since I lost another 7-10 lbs. so it only makes sense that I'm swollen. anyhow. can come and go as I please and will be going back to work on Oct. 3rd. no heavy lifting. but, all in all I feel really , really good. since my panniculectomy I have reached the goal I've set for myself around 145lbs. my goal for thanksgiving?? is to maintain my weight and not gain any! I need to upstep the exercise a bit. I have stalled since my recent surgery. I enjoy walking esp. after dinner. but, have little stamina lately. but, my energy will get improved as my healing gets better. not regretting a thing!
