Topic: RE: What's you weight now?
Diva....Currently my weight is standing still at 119. I tell everyone I'm 5"4, but I think I am really 5"2 cause my daughter is 5" and I don't stand much taller than her. I too have found I get the munchies, more so at night....Sometimes I can eat a lot and then there are times I can't..as far as cramping goes.. I have not had any and I sure hope I don't. I know they really hurt. Try eating a bananna every day if you can...That might help... Sounds like everything else is going go for you. Just remember to get your water and protien in every day... Topic: RE: How about an update for Sept.?
Hi Junebugs! I'm enjoying reading everyone else's responses . . . here's my update: 1. Current Weight Loss in pounds: -138 2. Pounds until goal: 12 3. Exercise Choice: would be walking on treadmill but current abdominal hernia is keeping me fairly immobile, surgery is imminent, awaiting approval now and hoping to get a tummy tuck out of the deal 4. Biggest "WOW" : finding clothes in the thrift store in sizes I thought I'd NEVER wear again -- what a blast!!! An entire new wardrobe for a fraction of the cost, I feel like a kid in a candy store LOL. 5. Biggest frustration: Hanging skin in places I had not thought would be problem areas (inner thighs and arms especially UGH) 6. Supplements: none right now 7. Have your friends/relationships changed ? I am getting a LOT of attention from folks who treated me like the invisible woman before and this irks me . . . also my 10-year relationship with significant other/father of my children is floundering as I am becoming more assertive and less of a doormat because I feel better about myself. 8. Number 1 thing you want/plan to do since losing weight: fix the "insides" to match the "outsides" as in working with a professional counselor on mental baggage and exploring how I became obese in the first place! 9. Do you keep a food journal? occasionally I use fitday.com if I am veering off-course, it keeps me in check 10. Favorite Food/Snack that helps keep you on track: shrimp but it's so expen$ive 11. Do you go to a support group? No, wish I could more often, but I do get alot from this website daily 12. Number 1 rule you live by to keep your eating/new life in check: I keep buying jeans one size too small and trying them on to see if they are getting any closer to fitting LOL 13. Was it Worth it? Puhleeze!!! I am LIVING again instead of merely EXISTING!!! YES!!! -BJ 5'6" 300/162/150??? and awaiting PS (tummy tuck) approval
