Down from 341 to 233, but it's crawling now. I find I'm grazing more at night. Gotta work on that! I wanted to get down to 200 by 18 months, but it's not looking likely...

Topic: RE: I had my T Tuck
Hi Debbie, I am awaiting hernia repair and TT as well, we just submitted for insurance approval and are now playing the waiting game . . . my WLS general surgeon will be performing these procedures, not a plastic surgeon. He has told me he will relocate my bellybutton. I am trying my hardest to lose as many more pounds as possible before the surgery too. I am a bit concerned that my results of the TT won't be as "polished" because he is not a plastic surgeon . . . but this is the only way I can get this procedure done by combining it with the hernia repair. Sigh. -BJ 300/160!/150???

I'm waiting for 15 more lbs. before I go for TT & hernia repair. If you don't mind me asking you girls, do you still have your navel? My original surgeon (not a plastic surgeon) is gonna do mine & he says he can't proomise that I'll have a navel. It helps so much to hear others stories & experiences. My WLS was 6/1/04 & I'm down 133 lbs. REALLY SCARED of the next step. Ya'll (I'm a southern gal, SC) take care & THANKS in advance.

Topic: RE: MY HAIR !!!
I've just finished a second round of hair shedding. It started again at just about the 1 year mark and lasted about 4 months. My TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) was out of wack and I was severely anemic at the same time so those two issues might have contributed to it. It looks like it has stopped again - so I hope that's it for NOW! Regina

Congrats for the 195 lbs. That is great! How was the TT? Would you do it again? I am researching this now in my journey and any feedback would be great. Have a great day! Debbie

I am at a stand still of 215 pounds right now on the scale. I have come a long way from 425 before surgery.....to 407 the day of surgery......till now. I still have 65 pounds I would like to drop. Its been good and if I don't get off all 65 pounds I won't be unhappy. I am so much happier these days. I am not the size 12 I wanted but don't feel like people are looking at me and saying look at the fat chick sweating as she walks! I am finding I eat more too! Some days I can curb it and others....well there is no stopping me. I feel normal these days. Even with eating. Everyone still watches what I eat. They like to see what I put in my mouth I guess. My husband is the food police so he always tells me there is too much on the plate! What a nice reminder! I never liked it before but now I find it helps me put things in prospective! The cramps sound like low potassium...bananas, orange juice is good for this. I hope things get better for you. Debbie
