Karen,
You are doing GREAT! I had the scale sit on the same number for 3 weeks and then all of a sudden I lost 4 pounds one day and 3 the next. Go figure! I would suggest that you drink more water. My loss comes right after an increase in water or protein. I'm down 54 pounds so far.

Topic: RE: A Question About Hair Loss
Hi Faye,
I've been losing my hair for quite a while but I'm not worried. I might cut it short but I'm undecided so far. I am going to up my protein and hope it helps. The 50 pound loss and size 12 clothes is consolation in my book.

Topic: Stopped losing!!!!!!
For the last two weeks my scales have not moved.....This is really driving me nuts..I keep eating what my doctor tells me to, all the prortein and water I can get in and it's still not doing a thing. I have tried walking more, but with my knees, it just hurts...I am 7 weeks out and have lost 54lbs, but like everyone else just wi**** would come off faster. I would really like to be down 50 more lbs by Thanksgiving so I can surprise my sister with my new look... Does anyone have any ideas??? HELP

Topic: RE: A Question About Hair Loss
Hair loss is awful. I started losing my hair about 2 weeks ago. My surgeon told me that it is perfectly normal after Gastric Bypass Surgery for this to happen. He said that it will not last long, and when my hair grows back in, it will be much thicker and have a great shine.
It really does suck, but my life has changed so much in the past 2 months that it's totally worth it. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
I just keep thinking about how lucky I am. Down over 65 pounds in 2 months... it could be much worse. After I put everything into perspective, a little hair loss doesn't seem so bad.

Welcome Patti!
Congrats on your 80 pound loss! You are doing great.
Everyone on this board is great. You'll really enjoy the atmosphere. The best thing about this board is that we are all in the same boat. We speak very frankly and are very supportive of each other.
Welcome!
