Topic: June 21st - 4 months
I have lost 77lbs in 3 1/2 months. Last couple of weeks I have not lost but 5 lbs. Is this normal.

Good morning June brothers and sisters ,
My success tihs much is not that much from last but I hope the loss for October would be better !! I started my excercise again and started using weight so off that note I offically lost 61 lbs as of yesturday down from 260lbs to 199 lbs !! So how everybody else doing at 4 months ???

I also had surgery on June 21 I have lost a total amount of 51 pounds and now I think I'm at a stand still. Good luck kto you on your weight lost.

Hi Alicia,
unfortunately there's just no magic spell against this hair loss. I thought it starts around three months, little was I prepared when it started coming out by the handfuls a week after surgery. I think I must have lost 2/3 of my hair, but hey.. its ok, I had PLENTY to lose, and now it actually is sort of NORMAL 
Having said that, now that I am 3 .5 months post-op, it stopped falling out and I'm seeing lots of new growth. It looks ratty, since it's all showing on top of my head and is about an inch or so long, first I thought it was broken hair, but the lady at the salon said, no, that's new growth. Yippee...
Don't despair, it wont ALL fall out, there is hope!! Keep up the vitamins and protein, and you'll be fine

My surgery was also June 2,2004.
I'm down 78 pounds, and it's getting cooler in Indiana .I NEED A WINTER COAT. 
I'm going to freeze.

I had surgery June 22 and my hair has started to fall out too. It comes out a lot in the shower and when I bru**** So far I haven't been able to see the hair loss. If you hear of any remedies, please let me know. Thanks and good luck. Tracy

I have noticed the last few weeks that my hair has been falling out. The last 3 days has been really bad! It's coming out in handfuls. I've been told this is normal after gb surgry but does anyone have any magic home remedies I could use? I'm getting desperate. Help me!

I too get a little discouraged at times. I have only lost about 55 pounds and see others who lose up too 100. I do not drink enough water that I do know. So maybe your intake of water is a bit low. Keep smiling because you have lost 50 pounds in just 3 months. Thats nothing but a miracle still in my eyes. Keep your chin up.
