Oh, by the way my husband is a flight attendant so we get passes to fly on the airlines. Last time we went to Paris I was so heavy I couldn't hardly walk we had to take taxi's everywhere but now I can carry my big butt around without having to take a break every 10 min. My hair is so thin I tell every one I have old lady hair now. It freaks me out to see my scalp. Everyone at the support group assure me that it will grow back----I realy hope so. I had to chane my profile name because I have a nosey sister-in-law that wants to be in my business errrrrr. well, every one congratulations and keep up the good fight for weight loss. Dawn

Lois....everyone responds differently. I like you do find that at some meals I can eat forever. Of course I don't. I do find that some days I do forget to eat, or just don't want to. I've had some sugar, and it doesn't seem to bother me...Having a hard time getting my water (don't care for the teast...none..)and protein. But it must not be hurting any as I have made the "century club" as of yesterday. Doctor was happy with me when I weighed in. GOOD for ME!!!! Sounds like you are still on the right track with your weight loss. Just keep up with what you are doing. Karen RNY6-30 288/188/145someday soon

Hi Guys, I just checked and at last I dropped two pounds. Thank you all for the support. Looks like everybody is doing great! I think I'm techno challanged cause I don't know how to respond quickly to your messages. I just wait and get emails much later...anybody want to fill me in on how to respond quickly??? I guess it's true that we're all responding differently to this surgery. I'm still hungry...was from the beginning. I actually think I'm more obsessed with food than before. I see some of you saying you forgot to eat and I'm thinkin...only after I'm dead would I forget to eat. Everybody's volume and appetite seems to have expanded, like mine, but Ido work hard to control it. (Bad girl had popcorn last nite) However, I don't snack (except last nite) and I do work at the protien and water. I have no trouble with bread, I haven't tested the sugar thing, but I probably don't dump with that either. I can drink a protien shake in five minutes and can gulp water at will, no problem. So I guess I just don't have some of the limitations that others do and have to limit myself, but I don't have any health problems either and hopefully won't develop any. Good to see you (us) all having success. Happy Thanksgiving! Lois

Jamie I get mine at GNC. It's about $3 per bottle but it has 40 grams of protein & 160 calories with no sugar or carbs. That's why it's called Zero Carb Isopure I guess!

Start weight: 283.5 Todays weight: 210 I have just broke a 5.5 week plateau this week with a 3 lbs. gone in 2 days. Feels good. I consume 80 to 100 g of protein daily, drink more than the required amount of fluids, and exercise 4 day (at least). This week I have increased my exercise by 15 min daily, doing an extra round at curves and by doing watp, 2 mile, but will bump that up to 3 miles today. My hair has stopped falling out, but is so thin. Yuk! I feel so good, tons of energy. I am wearing a size 16 pants, loose in the seat and thighs and a Larege shirt. IT feels so good to buy in the reg. size dept. Keep up the good work everyone. 283.5/210/140

I just broke a 5.5 week plateau, by doing exactly what you are doing. Don't get discouraged, it will start dropping again. Your body is just playing catch up and adjusting to the awesome pounds gone. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged. Good luck.

Wow we are doing just great. My stats: Starting weight 383.5 Current weight 268 Weight loss was terrible in September with only 5 pounds down, October was wonderful when I lost over 25. I have slowed down again and am only losing hair now. I am counting on the hair loss stopping and the weight loss starting up again. I have my life back. I am able to do the little things that I could not do for a long time. (Like get the mail, our box is one house away and prior it was to far for me to walk.) Best thing I ever have done for myself, Kathy -115.5 Only 8 more pounds to go before I am the same weight as my driver's license.

Sounds like you are working your post-op routine the best way possible. I bet your body just needs some time to play catch up. I have had plateaus that lasted nearly two weeks then lost a lot of weight over a couple days. I hear that is normal. Hang in there, you are doing great! Amy -117lbs.
