congrats ss!*!*!*! Circut training is good... mixing weights, bike, walking, leg lifts. keeps you from getting bored because you can switch things around and it doesn't feel like it takes forever because its always changing. Patti, MI

Topic: 6 Month Check up!
It went great! You know I look at the scale all the time here but somehow seeing it there makes it more "offical" I'm down 118 pounds! I have been in the best mood all day. They warned me about the slow down and that losing around 50 pounds in the next 6 months would be on the high side of lossing. I told them "even if I lose nothing else this was all still worth it!" Which you know weirdO me really things I won't lose more. They started a new thing... they analize your body fat ... they tell you how much is fa****er and guts/muscles and give you a formula to find out if you are getting enough water. I can't wait till my year check to have something to compare it against. Patti, in Montague

Wooohooo!! Happy dance and Congrats!! My surgery was June 3 and I started out at 303 pounds. As of this morning, I am at 194 lbs!!!! Total of -109 pounds!!!! I am still losing hair by the handfuls, and if it does not stop soon, I may have none left. Other then that, I feel WONDERFUL! I do seem to have this regular cycle where I do not lose for a week or two, then I lose a few pounds, then I do not lose again.... you get the picture. Hugs, Ang 303/194/150?

I am in the same boat as you, I am six months out and have lost 77lbs but now it has slowed down considerably. I have a trainer and work out three days a week. I was told by the trainer that the harder you train your fat becomes muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. So keep up the work I bet if you measure yourself you have lost inches, That's what I did and I lost no weight one month but lost 6 inches. Keep up the work and never get discouraged you have come to far to give up. Have a great holiday season. Rose

Hi, It has been 6 months since my surgery and I take biotin every day, and I have had just a little hair loss. I'm sure it works. Vitamins are never a waste of time. They all work. Keep up the good work. Rose

Congratulations, Faye!!!!! It's a blessing to have the surgery but remember that you put in a lot of hard blood, sweat, and tears to rid your body of those 90lbs and you should really pat yourself on the back. Also, I would suggest that you consider treating yourself when you hit the century mark because you deserve recognition for reaching that key milestone. Thanks for the great news from another June WLS bug! Kevin

Don't abandon yourself during the holiday season. Careful what you eat too. Those pounds can come on quickly if we don'****ch ourselves to build disipline.
