God bless all of you! I do not have such a happy story. I have just had a complete open RNY all over again........At 150lbs. I'm 5'9". I have had my stoma fixed 2x, hernia surgery, and countless days of sickness, anemia, you name it. I am 9 days out from my revision and at 135 lbs. I am too skinny. I am scared. Doc says that I will lost a lot more. I am so scared. I looked so good 9 days ago. But, stoma had stretched again and couldn't be repaired without a complete revision I guess. No one ever tells the bad stories. Thought I would share. Sorry to be a bummer.

Did anyone gain weight if so how much? When you delivered your child did you loose the weight? I know it's different for everyone but I just would like to have some idea of what I might be facing.

Hello to everyone this is Chocolate Diva, I had my surgery 2years and 3 months ago. Guess what now I'm preganent, I need to hear from others that have been preganent to hear how it went and what to expect. I'm 37 and my youngest child is 8 for some reason I'm really nervous about being preganent and I have been a little sick lately. I'm really early maybe about 3 weeks are so no more. Please Help by giving some adivse on what to expect will the norm are will it be different because of the surgery.

Hi everyone, OK school is back in session (and not a moment too soon for this single mom of two elementary-aged kids PHEW) and I've promised myself to get back on track once I didn't have them underfoot. So to keep myself honest . . . I totally blew off exercising this summer using the heat/humidity and kids underfoot excuse. So BEGINNING TODAY I start walking again . . . planning to go to Broadneck Park and do the rounds there I guess. I am also going to look into water aerobics classes and see if I can afford that! I've been gaining and re-losing the same 5-8 pounds for the past several months. So BEGINNING TODAY I am buckling back down with my food plan and commiting to (1) daily input to fitday.com to keep me in line, (2) detoxing from carbs, and (3) meal planning so the RIGHT foods are in the house rather than JUNK. Financially, I'm commiting to putting a little something a$ide for my plastic surgery fund. I had tummy tuck/hernia repair last Thanksgiving . . . the rest of my body looks like a Sharpei-on-CRACK. A breast lift/aug is my priority now, so I'm pulling out the piggy bank. NO MORE EXCUSES BJ, do you HEAR ME??!! Hope you all are having a wonderful Monday . . . -BJ 300/158 (saw goal of 150 for about three minutes earlier this year and am determined to see it, and stick with it PERMANENTLY)

I wish I was more comfortable with my skin as you are. That is great! 2 years and well alot of extra skin to take care of...I have another 16 lbs to lose before I go get nip and tuck and perhaps that will give me the confidence to belly dance. Debbie

Yes isn't life wonderful now???? I started belly dancing after my tt. I figure I paid enough for this body and I'm going to show it off whenever I can! I love to flaunt it now, and fortunately my hubby enjoys seeing me flaunt it too. Terry Coles

Anniversary, 06/08/04 and now adominoplasty 08/04/06 to remove apron completed. Gee, life has changed so much for the old girl (soon to be 56 yrs). I've had enough compliments to make up for all those years of "such a pretty face". No regrets. Bless wishes to all June '04 bugs on OH!

I am aiming for 20 lbs off before PS and hoping PS takes off the other 20 lbs! What a hard way to lose 20 lbs! I want to get back to my journaling and food diary more regularly. Understand normal and be it! I think by third year normalcy should be a piece of cake....What do you think?

How much total weight have you lost Debbie if you don't mind me asking. Also have you had problems with any access skin? with my weight loss I have access skin in my tummy area plus my thighs and not to be crude but I've lost ALOT in my breasts...I went from a 54DD down to a 34DD..the only thing about losing so much in my chest is I can wear those little shirts with the spagetti straps that have the built in bra's....so I can stay cool in this hot TX weather. If ya ever what to share anything else or just need or want to talk please feel free to email me anytime. If I take a few days to reply its probably cause my hands are hurting (had surgery on left hand 6/14 and right hand 7/17...had Carpal Tunnel & had the tendon's in my thumbs repaired). Well take care, Yvonne
