Topic: RE: Any weight gain 4 anyone
That is wonderful! Good for you! I have maintained a 115 pound loss so far. I still have that much more to go! I began my journey at over 380 pounds. Now I'm around 279-281. I've kept that off since this summer. I don't know about weight regain. I do know I 've not been following walking as much as I should be. I began that again today! I just get so bored. I guess this isn't a magic tool. You just have to keep the healthy lifestyle. Best wishes to you!

Hi Debbie, I just want to touch base and say hi. Gosh, I am so bad....I just seldom get on this sight anymore. I am now engaged and my daughter and I moved in with my fiance about a month ago.
On the WLS side I am down to 187 and still slowly slowly slowly....(did I mention slowly!) still losing a pound here and a pound there. I am so proud of what I have accomplished. I plan to have an inner thigh lift, breast reconstruction and augmentation, and a tummy tuck in the next year. That should take another 10-15 pounds according to the surgeon. All that is only going to cost 12,000. I thought that was pretty reasonable!
I hope all is well with you.....! Shawna

Barbara I hear you! I am in the same boat although my summer off was to assist Gram with hospice duties as her primary caregiver. I have started a new job and only one week into it right now. Next week I get back to the program. No excuses and I need to find time to do all of this now because I am important!

Topic: RE: No regrets and plastics done 08-04-06, yeah!
I hope to do a lower body lift in November. I've appealed my insurance company's denial . . . and am trying to gather the money to pay for the rest of the body lift. With 150-pound weight loss, there's a lot of loose skin. I'm struggling with a 10-pound wieght gain, but am pretty well on track sort of. I've switched my exercise program to bicycling 6 miles a day at least three times a week. More if weather and schedule permits. I'm crowding 57 and have a very busy schedule . . . I've started researching the plastic surgery . . . but I figure if I could handle the WLS with little to no side effects, the same should hold true with the plastic surgery . . . shouldn't it?

Hi Alita, I am so sorry you continue to have problems. Are you saying that the food is passing too quickly through your pouch/stoma and intestines to where you aren't getting any nutritional value/calories at all? What does your doc have to say about this? Have you consulted others for their opinions? How scary for you.
