I guess the Honeymoon is over, I've reached the goals i set for myself but found them too easy to reach, and fight the urge to want to eat continually! I've considered a rehab program for eating addictions! Has anyone done that? This is getting me as I now crave food and nothing seems to satisfy. Any suggestions.? ~Teeny Violet that feels like a large cactus, (I can tell my outside doesn;t match my inside.)

Do you attend any type of support group in your area for weight loss patients? Talk to your weight loss surgeon about your food cravings. They're there to help, or at least should be. They may be able to direct you where you can get some help. You might find a local overeaters anonymous group in your area since they deal with food as an addiction. Don't let this go too long or else you'll put the weight back on. Good luck, terry coles

Before surgery, I was required to visit a psychologist for an evaluation. If you were required to as well, you may want to contact that doctor. I know that the one I saw dealt with alot of WLS patients, and told me that he often had follow-ups with patients after sugery. In some cases, morbid obesity is a symptom of a larger psychological issue, and if that's true in your case, you'll need to get to the underlying cause before you can truly win your battle with your weight.
