Hey guys, Its been awhile since I've logged on, but I still think of everyone! Haven't had a bad lab yet! Not getting the water & protien in that I should, but doing my best every day. I feel great...still no complications. Had full check out literally, endoscopy and colonoscopy, and MRI of my torso...all ok, no scar tissue issues, no herneas. I'm so sick of hearing all the media on bad WLS, I also know how lucky I've been and am! God Bless guys! Love, Ang Updated profile, new pic soon!

I agree about the bad press that WLS is getting. There's a "truth about Weight Loss Surgery" segment on one of our local news broadcasts tonight. I'm sure it's going to be negative, but I'm TIVOing it anyway. If it's really bad, I might have to contact them about doing an editorial rebuttal (appear on TV?!? -- something else I'd never even have considered before surgery). The surgery saved my life and my health. I'd bet that most of the reporters who do the sensational stories never had a weight problem. Like most of society, they'll never understand. Congratulations on the weight loss, and the excellent followups. I've also been blessed to have had no major complications. I hope everything continues to go well for all of us.
