Cindy in Ohio 287/150ish/135
OK my turn . . .
I have done well DESPITE myself! I feel like I would be 10-20 lbs lighter right now if I had not been grazing on all the wrong foods these past 3-4 months, including alcohol (I dump on NOTHING unfortunately and have been struggling with appetite, portions and choices).
LOST: now at 158 down from 300 so far a total of 142 lbs gone but not forgotten
NEW: six days postop from tummy tuck/hernia repair and recovering slowly, kind of swollen and definitely sore, expect to stay swollen for several weeks, anxious to see what kind of difference the surgery has made on my shape/weight but jury's still out LOL
CHANGES: although I have stayed within the 155-165 range since July of this year, my body is constantly changing and conforming -- I have still dropped one clothing size while remaining at the same weight these months
GOAL: thinking about changing my goal from a "weight" thing to a "size" thing at this point, not sure. Original goal was 150, might want to drop 10 more pounds. DEFINITELY would like to be an 8/10 instead of current 10/12, we'll see
WOW: My legs are my best feature and this 43-year-old can still turn heads in a denim miniskirt LOL, I went out on the town two weekends ago and got quite a bit of attention teehee
FAVORITE HEALTHY FOOD: gotta be shrimp
Let's hear from all the other JuneBugs and keep this board hoppin.

300/158/150??
Ok .. how are you doing ...
I am doing very well. Except for the stress I am dealing with in the job everything is peachy.
New: Thoughts of PS dancing through my head. How will I pay for it and what do I want done....Am I going to be okay looking like Frankensteins bride???? Sorry but that is what comes to mind and probably keeps me at bay from diving in for a consultation.
Changes: I need to make a few. Diet is getting too many carbs.
WOW: I still don't like having my picture taken but I sat for a portrait for hubby....
Fav Food: Fruit any kind! and of course we can't forget SF chocolate! Especially when you are constipated. I never thought I would appreciate chocolate soo much!
Lost: A whole me.....I was 425 lbs....before surgery...surgery date I was 407 lbs and now I am at 213 lbs...YES I lost my twin! I still would like another 65 lbs gone. Not sure how to do it but I will have to work on it.
Happy Holidays to all you June Bugs! Its been a great 18 months!
Debbie

Hello Junebugs!!! I am doing great!! I am so happy with this surgery!
I am at goal at around 143/145 lbs.
The biggest Change is now I want to shop...... for me!!!
I go Christmas shopping and have to remind myself " no not for me"... for others! and I don't feel guilty not one little bit.!!!!!!
Whats NEW??? Well I about to become a grandma!! MY daughter who had WLS in March of 02 is 9 months + she was due YESTERDAY! so its a waiting game now.
Changes?? I don't feel like going YUCK when I look into a mirror anymore.
I actually like looking into a mirror and love being able to fit into such nice clothes. {{ don't they have such great clothes in small sizes??!! }}
the WOW is the fact that people think I'M TOO SKINNY!!!!!!!
that totally cracks me up!! I love fitting into my skinny Mom's coats and find them not tight but, loose. My Mom is like a size 8 and she just gave me 2 beautiful winter coats. I feel so classy in them!!
Favorite healthy food?? I like the Luna bars. I eat one every workday on my way to work. Happy Holidays all!

Hi Everyone,
Ok I've lost a total of 156 pounds, down from 276 to 120. Had plastic surgery on Oct 17, 2005. Had abdominoplasty with a belt lipectomy plus an inner medial thigh lift. I LOVE my new body!!! I look good in a bikini, not perfect...still have some loose skin around my knees, but damn good considering where I've come from.
I've gone from a tight size 26 pants to a comfy fitting junior size 3. Since my ps I can't stop looking in the mirror. Can't believe this is MY body. I love the way my midsection looks.
Didn't work out for 6 weeks while recovering. Back to mostly cardio now but have done some abs and a few light weights. Easing back into the exercise routine which I missed alot while I was recovering from ps. To my amazement I discovered that I COULD miss that many weeks of exercise and still be thin. Never thought I could miss a day of exercise.
I still live on many of the same foods that got me thin. Lots of ff cottage cheese with sf jelly and fruit, ff cheese and crackers etc. But I don't deprive myself of anything. If I want it I taste it then leave the rest. I haven't made any food forbidden. I just don't eat the junk all the time. On Thanksgiving I did eat some pie and ice cream but when I realized how small of a slice and what a little dab of ice cream I was eating compared to what I used to eat, I was amazed. So today it's a matter of quality in food and not quantity. I love my new life and thank God everyday for the wonderful surgeons out there and the opportunity to have this surgery and start a whole new life. I'm NOT the same person I was 2 years ago. I'm so much more confident and outgoing instead of being a wallflower that didn't want to be seen. Now I WANT and EXPECT to be noticed especially by the opposite sex. Now instead of being the fat girl in the corner I'm usually the skinniest girl at the center of attention. I dress to be noticed! Lots of tight, sexy clothes for me.
Continued success to everyone!
