What's you weight now?
Some info I found on the net:
* Inadequate blood supply. Narrowing of the arteries that deliver blood to your legs (arteriosclerosis of the extremities) can produce cramp-like pain in your legs and feet while you're exercising. These cramps go away within a minute or two after you simply stop and stand still.
* Nerve compression. Compression of nerves in your spine (lumbar stenosis) also can produce cramp-like pain in your legs. The pain usually worsens the longer you walk. Walking in a slightly flexed position -- such as you would when pushing a shopping cart ahead of you -- may improve symptoms.
* Potassium loss. Some diuretic medications prescribed for high blood pressure cause loss of potassium. Potassium is necessary for proper nerve function and muscle contraction.
Muscle cramps are also part of certain conditions such as nerve, thyroid or hormone disorders, diabetes, hypoglycemia and anemia.

Drink lots of water & take a potassium supplement. Check with your doc to rule out any possible problems! Good luck to you and good job!
I am at 190 from 343.5. I have pretty much leveled out. I am 5'9 and want to get to 175. I am anxious to get some cosmetic surgery done, but am waiting a while. Starting to look into it though.

Hi everyone, my name is Sondra I am very new to the site. I was reading the message board that you were talking about where your legs and stomach and other parts of your body were cramping, my fiance is in nursing and he thinks that you are low on sodium chloride/phosporus/glocoguens/glucogons from banananas, I don't know if I spelled all that right, but he says that basically it boils down to low salt and potassium and you can get them all in a natural supplement store or at a pharmacy over the counter. He said you can also drink gatorade and get the same nutrients to replinish your body with the above said electrolytes..I am sorry for all the misspellings, It is after three am lol.... I hope that we have helped you some....
Now for what I came on here for. lol. I am new to the site and I am still waiting to hear from my insurance company to see if I have been approved or not for surgery. I am very hopeful that I will be, I know that this can be a long and tedious process so I have a good outlook and know I need to wait. I applaud all of you for taking the steps to better your lives for the better health wise. It's women and men like you that make me go on and make me realize that there is hope out there and that there is life after being obese for so long... Thank You, Sondra
I started my journey at 432lb and today I am 240lb. There have been many stalls in my weightloss since three months out, but all-in-all, I am satisified with my progress. I had hoped to be at my Dr's goal (189lb cause I'm 5'11) by the end of the year but I doubt that will happen now LOL, but I should be there by my 2 year mark next June.
I will say that when I stopped walking in April due to a change in my work schedule, I slowly started to feel crummy and lethargic again. I started back walking in August and lost 10lb within a few weeks ~ I hadn't lost in months so I was so pleased! Right now, I want to stay focused on the basics, continue to walk, start biking more and not gain an oz. over the holidays !
Good luck to all you Junebugs!
Amy
I'm at 189 from 386. I think I might be at my final low, but I'm happy here. I just am so afraid of putting it back on. I'm back to old snack habits and am trying hard to put the rules back in front of me. I love to walk and am really enjoying the fall weather. I too have lots of skin issues. Has anyone gotten their plastic surgery approved by insurance?
Tips??
