back home from "t.t"

hello junebugs. well just a quick note to tell everyone I'm home and doing well a little sore. and can't sit in this chair too long. don't like these nasty drains though......yuck!! but other than that...it's o.k. will kepp everyone updated when I feel better.. Mary

Mary i hope you are feeling better,I no the drains were bad.I had to keep 1 of mine in for 3 extra day's.This friday it will be 3 week's for me,I am still sore but am able to get around a lot better.hang i thair it will get better.Stay in touch God Bless Barbara

drains came out this past monday. I don't look that swollen , but, since I can't fit into my jeans. I know I am still swollen. esp. since I lost another 7-10 lbs. so it only makes sense that I'm swollen. anyhow. can come and go as I please and will be going back to work on Oct. 3rd. no heavy lifting. but, all in all I feel really , really good. mary congrats and hope you heal well and fast. When you got the drains removed how was the pain the only pain I had when I had my WLS was the removal of those dreaded DRAINS. and they really did hurt when removed. So please tell me on a scale of 1-10 how bad was the DRAIN REMOVAL because I will be going in soon to have my tummy and arms done and really need to know so maybe i can position myself for the pain.

Hello Beverly, good luck with your ps coming up. well on a scale from 1-10 ?? well I would guess around a 3-4. it didn't HURT per say as much as feeling really weird! and uncomfortable. granted it's not something I want to repeat tomorrow or anytime soon.but, It's not something so horrid and hurtful that if I had to I wouldn't do again. IF I HAD to!! now I feel great. still numb though which is kinda a weird sensation.. I wasn't in too much pain and now I'm back to normal. just flatter.. feel so much better about myself. even more better than the WLS which I felt great about but, with all that hanging skin you still feel fat. even if you aren't now I feel my size. KINDA!!! I don't think in my brain I'll even feel skinny. good luck, Mary
