Has anybody tried Vista vitamins? If so, what's your opinion of them? Thanks a million!

I have been on VistaVitamins from the very start. I personally have really liked them. Especially, because I do feel that they were instrumental on my minimal hair loss... why I think that, I don't know, but I do My labs have been pretty good, except for the most recent ones which show me with low iron/hgb/mcv levels, so I've had to start taking extra iron. And of course I get my monthly shot of B12 (plus started taking sublinguals as well). Now, having said that... I have a very good document on my website. I exchanged a few e-mail messages with the author and she's not really keen on the VistaVitamins. So, here's her document and you can be the judge I have been considering leaving Vista Vitamins and go with the regular multivitamins (in combination with all the extra vitamins and minerals) and see how I do with the cheaper alternative. I really like what the VistaVitamins makers say about ABSORPTION (which is key!), so I was thiking I could compare levels with VistaVitamins and without and see which regimen is best and go from there... Anyway, I'm done babbling Here's the document I mentioned: http://www.geocities.com/tiger_angie/VitaminMineralRecommendationsVersion25-050205.pdf Angie

Beth, I don't know about vista at all. I just know that from the start, I was told to take Centrum from the very beginning and I have had WONDERFUL bloodwork results. (as long as we ignore the iron. I've been anemic my entire life). From everything I've learned, the big difference is the price. Read the labels and compare. Since we have to do this for the rest of our lives, I go with Centrum. I received a free sample of the Vista Vitamin spray and took it to my WLS doctor and he felt it was missing a few essential ingredients so he said I could use it but he still wanted me to take my 3 Flintstones Vitamins a day. Trish

Maybe I'm confused, but VistaVitamins does not have a spray product: http://www.vistavitamins.com/ They have the chewables (which I found yucky) and the easy-to-swallow capsules (4 in the morning, 4 in the evening) which I take daily.

I did not tolerate them. I could not take them because they got stuck in my mouth and the more water I drank the worst it got. So against my Doctors advice I take 3 chewables a day. My lab values were just fine. Patti
