How have you celebrated your anniversary?

Hello all fellow Junebugs! So how have you/or will you celebrate your 1 year WLS anniversary? I think its very important to acknowledge the date that has changed all of our lives. For me June 8th, will always be another date to mark on my calander. I had family and friends call me to wish me a happy "re-birthday"! I also celebrated with a party being thrown in my honor with an 80's theme ! It was so much fun! I had my before and after pictures blown-up. Let me tell you it was very strange to see myself before..its like it wasn't even me. So lets share our anniversary tales! Kattie

We are celebrating my one year with a BBQ with some friends and neighbors! It should be a good weekend. I think I will enjoy this!

Hi all.... I would like to celebrate with a big party....But, I will be in the hospital again...What am I a glutten for punishment???? I will be having my TT done on the 28th in Nashville. I can't wait. I know it is for a good cause. So I will not dwell on not having friends over or a big tado...I know when I come home I will be in a solid 6,(down from a 24 pants and a 46-48 top) which makes me very happy. I do wish everyone a very Happy reBirthday. I know all are happy about the choices they made a year ago. I know I am. And would do it all over again, if I had to..... Congrats on your year of new life. I hope everyone will continue to have a happy life and be proud of the chance they have been given. Karen 288/134

I scheduled my one year visit on the exact day. My doc is 4 hours away, so it was kind of like a mini-vacation for a day for me and my hubby. We went to the visit and I weighed in at 199.2! Yeah, officially below the 200 mark ON my anniversary date! I was too happy! We left and went to Irmo, SC and went shopping at the mall. I went to Parisian's and Belk. It was GRAND! I have never enjoyed a shopping venture quite so much! I bought size 16!!! Oh, yes! How wonderful! Lovin' Life! Marsha
