Hi all, I am new here. I had roux en y on june 17 2004. i am 6ft tall and i weighed a remarkable 404 lbs. here i am now down to 259, the thinnest i have been in 15 yrs. can you imagine! all that time wasted being obese, not being able to ride rides at the amusement parks and missing out on my childrens' lives. now here i am planning a trip to an amusement park the day it opens at the end of april, and you can bet i will be on every ride they have! i went from a size 32 to 20. shoes from a 12w to 10w and rings from 11 to 9. can you imagine? i want to get down to an even 200 lbs since i am very large framed. cannot get too thin i will look sick. now my focus is tummy tuck this summer, i thought my skin would have bounced back ebtter, but it didn't. anyone have any ideas on the skin removal? how painful, etc? i would love to hear from you. if anyone needs support, please email me! take care

Hi Mary Beth, I just had a panni removed. Took a LOT out of me. Much more than I expected to get over... I'm 4 weeks past and still sore and sick to death of this binder! But the binder does help with the pain. I had 4-Csection and my gallbladder out as well as the RNY but this panni kicked my butt. But it has also done so much for me, more than I thought it would. I'd do it again in a heart beat! But give yourself time to heal. Patti, in Montague

I see you have Blue Cross & Blue Sheild, PPO - my company just switched over to that. How did the panni approval go with them? Any tummy tuck?
