I started off at 424 pounds, I had surgery June 8th of 2004. I just had my panni surgery done March 11th I'm so glad I did. It hung about half way down my thighs. I can move so much better now. I know as soon as I heal exercise will be so much easier. I still have a long way to go but getting it removed was a good move for me. It sure has changed my frame of mind!!! They removed a HUGE HUNK of tissue that weighed 22 pounds! This surgery really kicked my butt... I'm still recovering from it. I thought "oh I've had 4 c-sections and my gallbladder removed and the RNY this surgery will be nothing" boy was I WRONG! lol but all very worth it and it has already changed my life in many many ways and its only been 3 weeks. I can't wait to get my arms done! Patti, in Michigan

Patti, I'm so glad you feel better! I really want to have a tummy tuck done in a few months. How does this surgery recovery/ pain etc. compare with the RNY? I've heard the pain from this is the worst, but can you explain? Thanks! JA 270/167/135?

Patti....So glad your TT went good. Hope you are not in too much pain. Is it worse than having the RNY done at first? I am going this week to see about having mine done also and am scared to death.... Karen RNY6-30/288-145 at goal but may keep on going.
