Hi to all of you who have been such a great inspiration to me. I had my RNY 6/04 and hit the century club in January -- 361 to 261. What bugs me is that I have only gone from a 28-30 to a size 24. I look much better and feel much better but haven't made much progress in the fashion department. I've also hit a two month plateau. I started a new job in a big hospital on 12 hour shifts and on my feet running a whole lot more. So I thought more activity than doctor's office work would be a big plus. But it hasn't. My new co-workers did not know me a hundred pounds ago and I kind of miss the attention my weight loss had with my old friends. I'd appreciate any words of wisdom that I always hear from you all. Thanks!

Pat,, I started out at a size 28 as well,, I am 5'5" and was weighing in at 316. Now,, ALOT of the size 28's were too small,, so I am wondering if the size 28 that you started at were actually too small for you. I mean was everything stretch and cotton??? After losing alot of weight, I could still wear my 28's. That is my personal opinion of why you are not losing too mu*****lothing size, you are a true size 24 now. And also it depends on where your weight is, mine is in my gut,, so alot of my clothing now is big in the waist but fits my gut....You know how us women are with their clothing sizes,, like my friend use to always were those little white Keds tennis shoes and complain that her toes would fall asleep.,,, she was in denial that she needed a wide width,, but refused to buy wider shoes but kept complaining.... I am trying to think what my weight was when I was in a size 24,,, I am thinking somewhere around 250lbs,, give or take a few lbs.. so to me, you seem to be wearing the right size,,, I hope this helps you ease your mind,,,,,, Christy Lap RNY 316/195/145
