When I talked to my dietician, she said I should be getting in about 3/4 cup of food (1 cup for soups)... however, I'm still somewhere between 2/3-3/4. I guess it all depends on what I'm eating. She also said I should be getting in 1200 calories - that seems like a lot, don't you think?? How many do you guys get??? Cathy 327/236/140 -91

Hi Cathy- I do think that 1200 seems like a lot.. My nutritionist says 500-750. I can get in about 2/3-1 cup depending on what it is Im eating. Good luck!! Kim 318/197/160/-121

I also never measured so I try to envision a tennis ball and keep it to that size. My doctor said to get in 60g protein minimum and about 800 calories (consisting of protein and good carbs) Amy

I am doing about 6oz...depending on food type. Not much more than that. Although I feel like I eat all day. Its weird....Six meals is a tough concept for me....can't decide whether its grazing or healthy. I would like to cut back to 3 meals a day but I have to figure out how to get protein in 3 meals. Challenges are all around. You are doing well. Like your new photo. Debbie

6 meals? omg I would die! i get 60 g protein from 3 meals need 2-3 oz meat or cheese at each meal and a glass of milk in between. 1 oz meat or cheese is 7g protein 8 oz milk is 8 g 1/4 c cottage cheese is 7 g 1 egg is 7 g so i eat 1 egg c/1 oz cheese and 1 oz meat = 21 gram protein always eat your protein first then the rest if room allows. hope this helps!

I eat about 1/2 cup at a time - 3/4 if it's been a long while since my last meal or if I have a protien drink for breakfast and then lunch after noon.
