"Official" 6-month update.

I had my 6-month post-op visit today. I am officially down 76 pounds to date. Doctor was very pleased with my progress. He said I could expect my loss to slow down a bit during the next 6 months and estimated that I might possibly lose another 40 pounds by my first year anniversary. I think his estimate is too conservative. My next personal goal is to get under 200 pounds by Easter (March 27). My long term goal is to be a normal weight by December 31. On my way to the doctor's office, which is a 1 1/2 hour drive, we stopped at a rest area and I actually fit into a restroom stall with room to spare that before had been a tight squeze. 310/234/122

Isn't amazing to fit in one? Preop, I always went into the handicap stall, so my hips wouldn't touch the sides of the regular stall! amazing the little things that are so wonderful! Haze RNY 6/10/04
