June Bugs...Weight Loss Updte!
I had my lap RNY June 18, 04
start weight 340

-45 lbs woooooo hooooo
I am so glad that most every one is in about the same weight loss bracket. I just started walking and boy is it ever hot here in Atlanta. My son said the cutest thing about my weight loss the other day, he said "Mom, you used to be my big fluffy pillow, now you are going to be my warm blanket" cute huh? I was like are you talking about my sagging skin on my arms? and he said "yep" lol lol I just had to crack up. I love that kid! Ya'll keep up the positive attitude because if your happy every thing goes much more smoothly! Be sweet and make good choices! Smooches, Dawn
Hi, I know I have been terrible about updating. Right after my surgery we found out we have to move so ever since it's been crazy. Finding a house, packing and now just waiting to close (oh and still packing..LOL)
Anyhoo, I think it's 10 weeks today and I am down 60 pounds. WOOHOO!! It's great!!!

Hey Everybody! Congrats to all of us!!!
Here I am. Better late than never! I'm getting tired of two pounds down then one pound up, same for 4 - 5 days, then one pound down the one pound back up, then hold for 4-5 days, then two pounds down ...... I know!..... Throw out the scale! But I need it for encouragement and as a deterent, too. I don't need any excuses like, "But you're doing so good! Go ahead and just try to eat one." Flip that ole devil off my shoulder!!
I am going to increase my protein and water and I'm sure that will kick my metabolism back in to gear. We'll seeeee...........

Hi All,,,
Had surgery on June 16th and feeling good,,although had to hide the darn scale,,which was driving me CRAZY!!!!
I try to weigh myself once every two weeks, and I find myself not stressing about ounces, rather than lbs,,TRY IT!!!
Original weight,,,= 282
AS of last week,,= 227
weight loss,,,,,,,,= 55lbs,,
woohoo can't beleive,,a dream come true,,, first 30lbs just melted away,,,now losing an average 2-3lbs per/week and not stressing about it,, try to excercise 4-6x per week,,I walk an average of 2 1/2 miles everytime, and started 30min cardio every other day,,feel so much more limber and flexable, LIFE IS GOOD!!!
Good luck to everyone and Keep up the good work,,,
