Hi everyone . . . Been doing some thinking this morning about the positive changes I've already noticed in my life as the result of my June surgery. Here's what I've come up with so far: 1) adult acne has totally cleared up and my skin is glowing 2) body aches from fibromyalgia are GONE 3) joint pain (knees and ankles) GONE 4) lower back pain from degenerative disk disease LESSENED 5) can get up my staircase without stopping to breathe or hoisting myself up via the railings, one step at a time 6) sleeping more soundly (less body aches and less instances of apnea) 7) depression alleviated 8) a new network of supportive friends, both in person at local groups, and online here How about you? -BJ 300/263.5/150???

Don't forget how great the nails look with all the vitamins. If I knew I just needed to take a pill a day, would have saved me thousands from the fake nails all those years ago. smile. mary kay

Wow Mary Kay, I had not put two & two together about the nails and vitamins. For the first time in my life I have long strong nails. I would have done the same thing years ago if I had known. I have noticed some other changes since surgery. I can actually keep up with my husband walking. I've always had to remind him to slow down for me but now I'm right there next to him without having to ask him to slow down. Terri

HI Everyone- July baby here, had my surgery on July 6th. Was wondering what vitamns you are taking. I am at the point where I can progress to a stronger vitamn and would love to know what you are taking. Thanks! Dawn

Hi Dawn, Believe it or not, I'm taking 2 Flintstone Plus (w/Iron) Chewables a day. I also take calcium and potassium supplements everyday. Every other day I take a B12 (that goes under your tongue). My doctor has said that I can start taking prenatal vitamins again, which I did before my surgery and I will once my supply of Flinstones runs out. Terri

I take Optisource. It is made specifically for Bariatric patients. I can only get it at walgreens.com. It is $25.00 for a one month supply. Tastes good too. Cathy -38
