8 days after

This is day 8 after an open gastric bypass and I feel great! My fiance has been so supportive and has joined me every night on my walks around the block. I believe i have lost 10 pounds at least that is what it was on Tuesday. I go in Monday to have my staples removed I heard that that can be painful. I have no pain during the day but sometimes it is hard to get to sleep. I can't wait to join the centurian club

Congratulations Deven! I hope I do as well as you have! My date is June 30th.....can't wait to get it done so I can start the road to recovery! Again, congrats to ya!!! (your girlfriend must be a jewel)

Had surgery on the eighth. Feel pretty good too! Had my staples out on Tuesday. They barely picked. What are you eating now? I am still on clear liquids until Monday and can't wait to eat yogurt and cream of wheat. mj
