I Feel Like I'm Burning on my left side

I'm 4 days out I feel like I'm doing ok ,sometimes its hard to get the jell-o down,but I'm burning like on the outside , on the left, this was going on in the hospital , the Doctor said it some times feels like it. I'm almost out of pain meds , I try to cut down then I walk and I cant stand the pain?

THis can be a painful procedure. HOWEVER, talk to your doctor. It is my feeling that humans have pain so that we know there is a problem. If you can't handle the pain, that needs to be addressed. I can't tell you the number of times I told a doctor there was something wrong and they did the "Well that's normal, Honey. We all have different pain tolerances."The last time I listened to this line my husband was told to go home and get my affairs in order. Be your own advocate! The surgeon is paid well for his time and knowledge. Remember, he works for you!!! Get better. I'll be thinking of you and sending healing thoughts. Stay strong. Kathy
