I have a date for my revision June 21st, 2004

Finally, after a long battle ( August of 2003) with Cigna of NC HMO Open Access , I will be getting my revision to a DS. I knew I wasn't going to give up hope. I was going to fight to the end. These are difficult times with these insurance companies. I'm more excited about this surgery than the original one in Nov 2001.I'm preparing a little everyday for the big day.It will be the 1st day of summer and the first day of another new beginning in my life.... Congrats and Good luck on your revision. Dr G is a GREAT surgeon. I looked at your profile but didnt see what problems you had with your RNY that made you want to get the DS..... would you care to share?
