June 24th for me!

A month from today. Wow! This is starting to feel very real now!

Me too! I'm getting nervous! I have to see my surgeon on Friday to make sure he has all of my pre-op tests in my chart. I just recently found out that my insurance is starting to cover lap band and I'm going to ask if he'll write a letter to my insurance to have the lap band instead. He just started doing them a few months ago. I'm still asking him to keep my date because it took a very long time to get it! Best Wishes! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Janet

YAY! I am so excited for us! I haven't done much research on the lap band but it seems that so many people I know are going with WLS these days! It's almost shocking to me. I have to see my Pulmonologist again tomorrow. He is now my PCP and because of my lungs, he just wants to see me one more time before giving the final go-ahead to my surgeon. I think that it is great to make sure you get clearance from different specialists. I just hope my insurance authorizes the surgery!! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. They are always welcome.
