I've got a date!!!

After being turned down two years ago for a different wls procedure, I now have a date for open rny--June 7. I am excited, but also getting pretty nervous. They have just started a bariatric program in my town, and I think they have done a great job at trying to get a fully rounded program (no pun intended). I have been going to the hospital exercise class, and support group. Only about 10 have had surgery so far, but there will be a few more by my date. Wish me luck!! Sue

Hi Sue! I'm new to this June board. I just got a surgery date of June 28th yesterday. I know how you feel. Nervous and excited at the same time. Oh my gosh I wonder how life will be post-op??? So much better I know. Best of Luck and God bless! Becky Walker in Texas

Hi Sue, We have the same surgery date. That's so When I got the call yesterday I think I was initally in shock. I too feel nervous and excited at the same time. But we'll get through it. Best wishes to you in your journey to becoming a "loser." Kelly
