I Have A Date !!

I Finally Have A Date-June 28!! It Seems So Far Away !

My date is June 21st and you are right... it seems so far away! The doctor tells me that it's going to fly by because of all the appointments I have between now and then, but I don't see it that way. I see it as a month and a half from hell! I'm going to be worrying myself silly. I've already been having nightmares and difficulty sleeping. Don't get me wrong - I'm very happy and excited, but along with that comes fear and anxiety! - JJ

I feel the same as you it is so many emotions all at once. It will come before you know it. My surgery date is 6-9-04.

yes it does my surgery is either June 28th or 29th still waiting for confirmation seems like a lifetime away doesn't it but we can do it we have waited this long

Hi Patty Congratulations on your date It does seem like a long time away, but you'll be surprised at how quickly the time goes by. My date is June 2nd. When I started counting down I had over 70 days. I was going nuts trying to be patient I know they say patience is a virtue, but it's definitely not one of my strong points. I am now down to 28 days!!! I can't believe it. I'm mixture of emotions I'm excited, scared, nervous, all of that, but I know it will be worth it Deb

I got a date too! Mine is two days after you. You are right it does seem like a long time away. Although I remember it was this time last year when I called Dr. Kirkland's office to get an appointment for September 24, 2004! Lucky for me there was a cancellation in March and I jumped on it! I was very surprised with the quick turn around with insurance approvals and Dr's office asking me for a date.....That scared me. I was not prepared for such an easy ride. Now I seem to be very consumed with wanting to know how I will be after the surgery. How I will feel, what I can do and when I can get back to work. I can't believe its happening. I feel like I am on a rollercoaster ride. I wish you the best with your surgery.
