BEEN APPROVED AND HAVE A DATE - ALL IN THE SAME DAY

I can't believe it - I called my docs office to tell them I got my approval and when we were on the phone - they gave me a date - June 8th. And they may even move me up if they get a cancellation. But first I have to get all my pre-op testing done. I'm so darn happy !!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is excellent! How many pre-op appointments do you have to go to? My surgery is through Mass General Hospital in Boston and I had to schedule 6 appointments before my surgery. I'm very glad that I have a flexible job - if I didn't this opportunity would be passing me by. I am very happy for you!! The day I made my appointment is when the fear set in for me. Remember to keep your head up and think positively! This is going to be wonderful!! - JJ

Hi JJ Thanks for the good wishes. I don't think the fear has set in yet - I'm still on cloud nine. Not sure on all the tests. I already had the EGD and psych approval. Some of the other things I know I'll need are the nutrional consult, EKG, stress test, obviously blood work. I do believe my doc also requires you to have had a female exam within the last year - which I've already done. I should get all the paperwork in tomorrow's mail. ~AM~
