Andrea,
Congratulations to you also. I pray that everything goes well with you. I will be at Mt. Carmel West, where will you be? People ask me if I'm scard or nervous and I always tell them no. I'm just so happy to be at this point so that I can start planning things at home. I have already purchased some protein drinks (expires 2005) and bottled water. I have also made my shopping list of the foods that I will need once I return home.
Good Luck,
Michelle
Congrats to you also Moneice. I think my preparations are coming along pretty good. I've purchased a variety of protein drinks (expires 2005) and bottled water. I always buy bottled water anyway. I've made my grocery list for my return trip home. Friends have volunteered to stay with me since my family is not here. I have a feeling that someone from my family will fly here anyway, because I have their 100% support. My niece had this last year in July and we are so proud of her progress. I've started my list for the hospital stay and I will complete it once I attend the bariatric pre-op seminar in May. I also purchased new walking shoes because I will be attending the gym at work. I used to go all of the time until I fell. I can't wait! 9 more weeks to go. I will keep you in my prayers and thanks for your words of encouragement.
Michelle
Thank you Venus! My prayers are with you also. This has been a long journey to get a date and we will be in the hospital at the same time. I have old pictures at my desk from when I was 22. I don't expect to look like that again, but I want to be close to it. Afterall, that was 20 years ago . Also, I need to get rid of this back pain and decrease my chances of getting diabetes and any of the other conditions associated with obesity. Congratulations and I wish you a speedy recovery and I pray that you reach your goal.
Michelle
