Am I the only one here who isn't a teacher?
Hi Carrie,
I am not a teacher but I do work for a middle school as a secretary. Lucky for me I already had all these medical problems so all my test have been done. I am a mom of 3 boys and step mom of 1 boy and 1 girl. (all live with us)
Good luck on your date being moved up. Lets keep in touch.

Hi, Carrie and all,
No, I'm not a teacher-I'm a nurse, but decided to have the surgery in June so I won't disrupt the kid's life too much (during the school year I'm the chauffeur!). I am scheduled for surgery June 15th and am waiting for insurance approval. I have already had many of the pre-op tests done. It's nice to know that a forum like this exists-otherwise I would be feeling very alone right now!! Good luck to all!
Connie
Nope you are not alone! ;) I am a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom) who has a special needs teen and an 85 y.o. mother with severe arthritis. I am a sandwich and have been for the last 5 years.
My surgery date is June 8th and I, like you, would like it to be moved up a bit but if not there is some reason why not.
lets stay in touch as we wait and then it will help the time go faster? OK?

I'm not a teacher either. Always wanted to be one growing up, but just didn't achieve that goal either. I've decided this weight loss is one goal I will achieve! I am a Reports Coordinator/Scheduling Supervisor for a publishing company. A lot of sitting on my rear end, which hasn't helped my attempts at my weight loss I'm glad to see some of us "Babies" as I'm referred to because of my age taking control of our lives now. It's exciting isn't it

I LOVE THIS POSTING !!!
I am not a teacher but a teacher's aide, and i scheduled my surgery back in January for June. The doc's office, and the hospital laughed and joked stating - "I think we might have an open date then". It was funny, but i figure I will need time to re-coup. I didn't realize how popular June was until i read your note.
Thanks for a smile today
