Any weight gain 4 anyone
I was just wondering if anyone has gain weight since our June surgery date. I haven't gain any weight; however I have been hearing that after your honey moon stage which is suppose to be 2 year you begin to gain weight some people were stating they gain any where from 15-25 pounds. I'm very luck that I have maintain 132 pounds which I love very much.
That is wonderful! Good for you! I have maintained a 115 pound loss so far. I still have that much more to go! I began my journey at over 380 pounds. Now I'm around 279-281. I've kept that off since this summer. I don't know about weight regain. I do know I 've not been following walking as much as I should be. I began that again today! I just get so bored. I guess this isn't a magic tool. You just have to keep the healthy lifestyle. Best wishes to you!

I brought up this subject at our support group last month and once I started several other people agreed that they too found it much harder to maintain the weight loss now. Like you I was two years out in June, had lost about 150 pounds (from 276-125)....for about a year I seemed to stay in the 125-130 range and now I seem to be in the 130-135 range for some reason. My clothes still fit and I wonder if I've put on muscle which I don't like to use as an excuse for excess weight but I feel and look good. I exercise 5 days a week, sometimes even twice a day, and when not exercising I go out country dancing with hubby and belly dance on my own. There was about a 10 month period when I could eat anything and not gain a pound, well that's over now and I really have to watch what I eat and how much I burn off.
I shouldn't complain since I'm still wearing size 3's and 4's in jeans but it's made me much more aware of the possiblity of weight gain. I've heard here that the weight comes back on after year 3....so we still have to watch out!
Take Care,
