God bless all of you! I do not have such a happy story. I have just had a complete open RNY all over again........At 150lbs. I'm 5'9". I have had my stoma fixed 2x, hernia surgery, and countless days of sickness, anemia, you name it. I am 9 days out from my revision and at 135 lbs. I am too skinny. I am scared. Doc says that I will lost a lot more. I am so scared. I looked so good 9 days ago. But, stoma had stretched again and couldn't be repaired without a complete revision I guess. No one ever tells the bad stories. Thought I would share. Sorry to be a bummer.

Hi Alita, I am so sorry you continue to have problems. Are you saying that the food is passing too quickly through your pouch/stoma and intestines to where you aren't getting any nutritional value/calories at all? What does your doc have to say about this? Have you consulted others for their opinions? How scary for you. -BJ

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am a lapband patient and have thought about converting to rny. I hope that you are feeling better! Janet in KC
