What Eleanor did !!
BJ...
I too have found it very easy to just pick up something to eat with out even thinking about it...I have put on an extra 10 pounds since I started working and not getting in all my walking like I used to do. I am still way down below my goal weight, but am not happy about putting on the extra 10 pounds. I have started walking at night when I get home from work. So I guess that's a start.
You should, and me, be happy with all the weight you have lost. Maybe together we can do this....Good luck and keep us posted.

OK since starting this thread I have lost 4 lbs. so SOMETHING is working LOL.
I am back to basics with calorie/carb counting and protein loading. The first couple of days were hard, the carb withdrawal sucked. I still need to work on getting enough water in, and getting my vitamin regimen in order again too. I got really lax and comfortable with all this and now I am paying the price with regain and fatigue.
My treadmill has this feature where you can key in your weight/age etc. and it will tell you how many calories you are burning while exercising. I have just begun recommitting myself to exercising (hate it) and it is almost not worth eating the "treat" when you can see how much effort it takes to burn those calories back off!

Hi Barbara,
I think all of us have the worry and concern of regaining any of our weight on the back of our mind at all times. Ok, maybe it's just me, I worry about it all the time. I go up and down the same 2 or 3 lbs all the time, but I think I'm keeping it in check by watching those couple of pounds.
Sounds to me like you know exactly what to do about it and as other writers have said, use your success to help motivate you to keep it under control.
I'm on the band wagon... I'm increasing my exercise and cutting out in between meal snacks.
Best wishes!
Terri
