What Eleanor did !!

Hi Sisters, Yesterday was my first consultation with Dr. Bauman ... and do you know what happened while I was there at his office!? Eleanor Chamness shows up with Christmas! She brought me all kinds of clothes! Beautiful, clothes that fit! The shame I feel when our son brings his friends home and i am in the same house coat day after day (I wa**** every other day) is gone. I can now be wearing one of *many* curte smock dresses, or all kinds of pants and tops. Bless you indeed Eleanor!! love tons, Wendy W

How did you visit with the Dr. go?

The visit with Dr. Bauman couldn't have gone better. His nurse said that United Health Care really "drags theri feet" and it usually takes a month to get approval. I am to see one more doc to satisfy doc B (boy, is he cute or what!?!) Thank you Barbara for being such a good bud love, Wendy

Wendy, My WLS was just approved last week by UHC and it only took them 3-day to approve and to post out the formal letter. Hang in there. I hope your approval is just as fast. Judy

That is great Wendy. So does this mean that you will be going to the mother/daughter tea? I sure hope so. How did things go with Dr. Bauman? Please keep us posted. julie

Hi Frayer dear, All went well. Doc B wants me to see an endo doc and administer heparin injections one week before surg. I'm sorry I haven't been able to call. Our car died on the way home from Dr. B's and he has been hoome all day. I save visiting phone calls for when he's not at home. Take care my friend! love, Wendy W

Aren't Dr B's patients the best? Have you decided between the lap-band or RNY? I'm glad the visit went well, Dr B is the greatest.

Hi my little Deb I told him I only wanted tyhe lap-band (with my history) and he was very supportive of it. He says it's very gentle on the body and the recovery is very good. I'm a wee bit excitied. Oh yeah, proper homage to a half century looser love you Deb, Wendy W
