Hi My name is Kellie and my date was scheduled for July 7th and now they pushed it up to June 23rd. I am excited and nervous at the same time. The time is flying by so fast that it will be here sooner than I think. Good Luck to everyone who is having surgery before me. Ya'll are all in my prayers!

Hey we can support each other my date is June 24th and I am having a lap RNY done in Wichita, Ks. I am with you about the anticipation and fear I have mixed emotions right now, I am also excited and can't stop thinking about how I will look thinner and getting to shop for new clothes that look good! My Mom i just worring herself to much about me getting the surgery done. My kids are excited though because I told them I will be more active with them and be able to go play ball with them more, but they are to young to understand everything. Hey, Good luck, my date is June 24th. I also feel like my prayers have been answered by how everything has fit together. I am with you on the family thing. My mom and dad are worried and are not understanding why I want to do this so bad, and my mother-in-law keeps telling me stories of surgerys that have not worked out so well.. They don't understand what it feels like when you walk into a room, or how you feel getting up in the morning. I pray that after your surgery they will see you feeling better about yourself and more energy and then it will come to them why you wanted to do this. Good luck and I will say a prayer for you!!! hello..........yes, yes, yes!!!!! its getting closer!!!!! it has been a long journey for me! been trying to have this surgery for the last 3 years.......and now its right around the corner!!!!!! i cant wait to start feeling better and look better!!! anyone who has come across "bumps" in the road (as i have) don't give up!!!! there were times when i wanted to give up and family and friends told me not to give up, im so glad i listened!!! so keep trying!!!! connie

Gosh this is so exciting that I am finally moving forward with my new doctor and a new date also this time with my approval!!!! Thank you lord for hearing my prayers! I told you mom!!!! THIS ONE IS FOR YOU JUST AS I PROMISED!!!!!
