Topic: June 6, 2003- It's my turn!

Countdown to a new chapter in my life. My Lap- RNY surgery will take place on this day at 1pm. I am excited, anxious, nervous and blessed! LOL, I can't wait to get to the other side with the multitude of my AMOS brothers and sisters.

I have a date for June 23, 03 which won't be long now! My surgery will be performed at Abbott Northwestern Hospital with Dr. Drew. If anyone one else from Minnesota is having surgery on that date let me know. I pray God be with us on that date and that we made the right decision, and if not, that God will bless us anyway, Amen!

Hi everyone! My surgery date is June 23. I can't wait to be free from all this weight. I have almost 300 lbs. to lose and I just know that this will be a total life change.. It's been a long and prayerful wait.

Cathy, Best of luck to you- I understand your mixed emotions! My date is June 23 and I just can't wait. I know so many good things are ahead for us, once we are free from the hold of fat, it's just the getting there that kind of freaks me sometime. Go to a support group in your area-it will really help. Again, best of luck to you.
