Hello everyone, I am starting to get anxious, but in a good way, because in 19 days and a wake up I will finally be crossing over. It has been a long journey and I still cant believe the time is near! I still have to put together a post-op grocery list and a hospital bag list. I am uncertain at this point what kind of protein drink and vitamins to buy and since the protein drink mix is so expensive I hate to buy the wrong kind or one that tastes bad. I am hoping that Dr. Steward will help me with this when I go in for my pre-op appointment on June 17th (03). Well, I guess thats all for now but I will post again soon. It is comforting to read all the encouraging posts. Roxie

I have also started my bowel prep so we can be sharing some special sitting time, lol. I am scheduled for 11am and am very much at peace, but, that may be just old age as I am 53! I am looking forward to meeting the person I always thought I could be and leaving the guilt of each bite of food I take is making someone think I am obese because I deserve to be...... I'll be praying for you and it's great to share "birthdays"!

Hi Laura, My surgery date is also June 10th. Tomorrow, June 3rd is my pre-op appt.
