Hi! guess what we are so lucky to have our dates on june 13th because were special soooo special.I am getting more and more excited ,i thought it would be the other way around,like getting scared,but i think i have been there long enough ,i am not as scared as i thought i would be,not yet.congrats on your road to be a new you ,god bless you and take care.email me anytime.

My surgery is scheduled to take place at East Jeff Hospital in New Orleans on my Mom's birthday, June 26. I'd love to hear from others who are having surgery on or close to my new "birth" date.
Let's get together thru email and support one another. It'll be great to compare notes and see each other thru every success. Also, to help lift up each other thru our worrisome times, plateaus, etc.
I'd love to hear from both men and women, no matter what age, color, etc. I'm 50 years old. (Date of birth, Nov 22, 1952)

Congratulations! That is the same day I am having my surgery also. I know what you mean that it seems like it is taking so long, but there are a lot of loose ends to tie up before the surgery! I just finished making hotel arrangements for my parents and kids that are near the hospital I will be staying. Now it is time to call around for kennel boarding for our favorite pooch! It seems like that day is taking so long to get here but at the same time the time is going going going I have so much to do in so little time. Oh how I can't wait to be a BIG LOSER!!!! Well good luck to everyone that is in the same boat as me pretty soon we will be on that other side we so dreamed of.

That is a good day for surgery my sisters birthday. My surgery was June 11th now it's July 3rd guess i could say i'm not happy but that's life i guess. good luck with your surgery on monday.....Dorothy
